Little Box Pizza was founded as a Benefit Corporation, scripting into the DNA of the company that it exists to pursue a social mission, not just a financial one. By creating opportunities for those challenged with societal or skillset limitations, Brad and Angelo see a bright future for budding entrepreneurs and pizza makers!
Little Box Pizza’s first location is operated by Norwalk native James Gibson. James led a life filled with gangs, jail time, loss and personal pain. He ultimately turned his life around and has emerged as a new man on solid ground with a family to support. Today, he is on a path to small-business success that is poised to shape his future, managing a staff and the day to day operations of running a Little Box Pizza truck.
The mobile truck stays in one place, operating as a pizza kitchen from which orders are taken, pizza is picked up, or even delivered by a driver. Customers can order food truck-side, online, or by using the Little Box Pizza mobile app. The menu features decadent garlic knots, pizza, meatball sliders, fresh salads, and hand-filled cannolis (classic, mochaccino, and salted caramel). Signature pies include the Shroom topped with a duxelles of finely chopped roasted mushrooms and shallots, fresh ricotta, mozzarella, chives, and truffle oil; the Jimmy the G Hot Oil Pie with mozzarella, fresh tomato sauce, sweet and spicy peppers, and hot oil; and THE Q topped with chicken, BBQ sauce, bacon, mozzarella, and blue cheese dressing.
